Every day, sound industrial containers get thrown away because nobody in the chain had a better idea and a truck. We are that better idea and that truck. Everything else — the wash line, the fabrication shop, the granulator, the grading system — exists to make that argument win economically as well as ethically.

What we actually are

A yard, four trucks, a wash line, a fabrication shop, a granulator and twenty-two people in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. We buy empty intermediate bulk containers from anyone who has them, decide what each one is still good for, and put it back to work. Containers that genuinely cannot be saved get granulated here rather than shipped to a hole.

We are not a broker, we are not a marketplace, and we do not drop-ship from somebody else's warehouse. Every container we sell has been through this yard and been looked at by one of three people whose job that is.

Three commitments we have not broken

Grade honestly. A written grading standard, applied by the same people, printed on your quote. If a container is Grade C, we call it Grade C, even when Grade B pays better.
Never landfill a container. Six consecutive years. Weight tickets available to anyone who asks.
Say no in writing. When a container is wrong for a duty, or a residue is outside our permitted scope, we say so and refer you on, rather than taking the sale and creating somebody else's problem.

The no-phone thing

We do not run a phone line, and people occasionally find that strange enough to ask about it. The reason is that the details that decide whether an IBC order goes well — grade, prior contents, valve thread, gasket material, freight access — all belong in writing. A phone call lets both sides be vague and remember it differently. An email does not. Every enquiry gets a written reply the same business day, Monday to Friday, with photographs where they help.

Why doesn't your company have a phone number?

Because a written quote is a better product than a spoken one. Everything that matters in this business — grade, prior contents, valve type, freight, quantity — is detail that belongs in writing where both parties can check it later. A phone line would let us be faster and vaguer. We chose slower and precise. Every enquiry is answered by email, same business day, Monday to Friday.

How big are you?

Small enough that the people who grade the containers also answer the email, and large enough to move eighteen thousand containers a year across six states. There are twenty-two of us at the Norristown yard, including the wash line, the fabrication shop, the granulation line and four drivers.

Do you sell to individuals as well as businesses?

Yes, routinely. Homesteaders, gardeners, beekeepers, people building rainwater systems and people who need one tote for one project. Will-call pickup at the yard works well for single units; delivery of one or two containers is available on our scheduled corridors.

Where did the company come from?

From a hauling business that kept getting asked to take IBC containers to a landfill and kept thinking that was an absurd thing to do with a perfectly good steel cage. Why no phone number?

Do you sell to individuals?

Routinely — homesteaders, gardeners, beekeepers, people building one rainwater system. Will-call works well for single containers and we deliver one or two on scheduled corridors.

Are you a broker?

No. Every container we sell has been through this yard and been looked at by one of three people whose job that is. We do not drop-ship from somebody else's warehouse and we do not list stock we have not seen.

Vocabulary, in twelve lines

IBC: Intermediate bulk container — anything between a drum and a tanker, in practice 110–550 gallons on a forkliftable base.
Composite IBC: An HDPE bottle inside a welded steel cage on a pallet base. The 275 and 330 gallon workhorses.
Tare: Empty weight of the container: 125–135 lb for a 275, 140–155 lb for a 330.
Gross mass: Container plus contents. Most 275s are rated to 2,800 lb; exceed it and the bottle bulges rather than bursts.
Node: A welded intersection in the cage where load actually transfers. The correct place to inspect.
S60x6: The standard outlet thread: 60 mm OD, 6 mm pitch buttress. Hand tight only.
Prior contents: What the container last held, logged against the original label. The single most consequential fact about any used tote.
Rebottle: A new HDPE bottle fitted into an inspected existing cage — virgin interior, 38% less embodied carbon than new.
Food grade: FDA-compliant resin plus an edible-only prior history plus a documented wash. All three, together.
